Let's Read a Book.......Whirlwind (The Champions #1) by Janet Dailey

 51343940. sy475

Whirlwind (The Champions #1)  by Janet Dailey   is not a relaxing beach read.  This book is full of sadness and struggle  and I was stressed out waiting for the next “ shoe to drop”.  It felt like watching and old 50’s western where bad things just keep happening to the good guys all perpetrated by the rich bad guy who can’t get enough and wants it all.

The main characters very likable and it has a very informative prospective on bull riding and rodeo life.

But again not a relaxing read but one full of suspense and intrigue.

Thank you #netglley for this ARC!

Let's Read a Good Book...........NOT !

Wish List

Wish list by Fern Michaels
First this is an old book brought back which would have been ok if they had updated it a little but they were lazy and left it with cigarettes and CB radios.
Second  this book reads  more like a junior high short story than a novel.    This is by far one of the worst books I have read and    it was one of the dumbest story lines I have ever read.
If you can believe an actress buys a trucking company and then decides  to learn how to drive the big rigs plus all of Hollywood comes to pick fruit when she calls then you will love this book.  (  Lots of BIG names got dropped here which just made the book sound more far fetched. )  Along with the fact that all her ex husbands gave her lots of money and they all stayed best friends…..
It had no depth, and I had no loving feelings about any of the characters and the story is so choppy it feels like it was sentences thrown in to the air and where ever they landed they were written in to the story.

Lets Read agood Book....."Truth and Justice" (Sisterhood #31) by Fern Michaels

Truth and Justice

"Truth and Justice" is (Sisterhood #31) by Fern Michaels and I have read and enjoyed all 31. The Vigilantes  ( the Sisters)    will take on a case for the underdog and  right the wrongs done against them.   I read this books wishing , as always, that the Vigilantes really existed and they were working on the side of good in real life.  They are  modern  day heroes.  In this book the case was  harder to unravel for the sisters and there was less information about the end punishment for the villain or the money distribution than in some of the earlier books.    I also thought we were left hanging about the identity of the  villain.   It was eluded to the fact that she was not the biological child of her "mother" but we were never given any details.  I kept thinking the sisters were going to discover something that would clear that up but it was never mentioned.
This is one of my favorite series and I love all the characters and enjoy every time I get to catch back up with them.
Thanks to Netgalley and to the publisher for this ARC.

Let's Read a Good Book.....The Three Mrs. Wrights: A Novel

The Three Mrs. Wrights

The Three Mrs. Wrights: A Novel  is the first book I have read  by Linda Keir.
It is not a fluffy beach read and it is not for the faint of heart,  this book will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for the other shoe to drop from the very first page.
"The Three Mrs. Wrights" is full of deceit and manipulation.   Three couples – one man... Holly and Jack (married), Jessica and Jonathan ( engaged then married) and   Lark and Trip ( meet, date, engaged married)  all at the same time....exhausting.
Women you will like and that are so nice and innocent  they would never expected anything like what was happening.
"The Three Mrs. Wrights" isn't you  typical mystery  but it has a satisfying ending
Thank You to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for this ARC!!
